WARSAW — U.S. Rep. Kathy Hochul, D-26th District, will be the keynote speaker at the Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce’s Legislative Breakfast on Aug. 12.
“The Chamber’s Legislative Breakfast provides a nice opportunity for the business community to hear from their elected officials, voice their concerns and ask questions about current as well as pending legislation,” said Chamber President Laura Lane. “This year’s breakfast is a great opportunity to meet our newly elected Congresswoman and to hear of her plans for representing Wyoming County at the federal level.”
Other area legislators have been invited to attend the event including state Sen. Patrick Gallivan, Assemblyman Dan Burling, Wyoming County Board of Supervisors Chairman A.D. Berwanger and the 15 other Wyoming County town supervisors.
The breakfast will be from 8 to 10 a.m. at Breezy Hill Party House, Merchant Road. Cost is $35 for the general public, and $20 for Chamber members.
Registration is required in advance.
