PERRY — Free child car seat inspections will be offered Oct. 28 at Perry Elementary School.
Perry police will offer the inspections 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in conjunction with the elementry school’s Pumpkin Walk.
Those interested can make sure their children, regardless of age, are properly secured in their vehicle, police said. It also helps ensure people have the correct car or booster seat, and that is properly installed.
Technicians will be on hand to check people’s car seats and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
It’s asked that people wait in the yellow drop off lane and a technician will meet them, poice said.
Appointments are first- come, first-serve.
It’s asked that people bring their car seat, child, and their vehicle’s owner manual.
