The Geneseo Garden Club will be selling crafts at Long Point Park July 17 and 18 as part of the Conesus Lake Association’s annual Arts and Crafts Show.
Hand-crafted items by club members will be featured, with proceeds supporting the club’s programs which include village and town of Geneseo plantings, scholarships and holiday village fountain decorations.
The show is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the park on West Lake Road (Route 256). Admission and parking are free.
About 100 crafters are expected.
The show, canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is promising many new crafters with interesting ideas, according to Jan Schur, chair of the Conesus Lake Association’s Arts & Crafts Committee.
“Our regulars will be back, too,” Schur wrote in the Association’s newsletter. “They’ve been busy working for two years and are anxious to see their customers again and show you their wares.”
The food court will be in full swing. Joining the show this year is Shoreless Acres with barbecued chicken and cider doughnuts.
Entertainment is, scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. each day. The Saturday lineup features Ted Canning and the Alchemy Steel Drum Band. On Sunday, the featured performance will be the Batavia Swing Band.
“The Goode Ole Boys,” a Livingston County car club, will bring their vintage cars for guests to view.
