The following menu is for home-delivered meals in Genesee County.

Congregate meal sites for seniors remain closed.

All lunches include 1% milk.

Menu is no added salt and low sugar. Menu is subject to change.

nMonday: Vitamin C juice, Knockwurst with mustard and hot dog bun, baked beans, cauliflower, canned diced pears.

nTuesday: Swedish meatballs with brown rice, brussel sprouts, multigrain bread, applesauce.

nWednesday: Vitamin C Juice, chicken with gravy and mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, whole wheat bread, pudding with fruit treat .

nThursday: Cold plate, Vitamin C Juice, egg salad, pasta salad, multigrain bread, diced peaches.

nFriday: Vitamin C juice, spaghetti with meatballs and sauce, green beans, Italian bread, banana.

Livingston County

Meals are delivered to Livingston County residents age 60 and older, regardless of income and who cannot prepare meals for themselves or attend a congregate meal site.

The suggested contribution is $3 per meal and the program accepts SNAP (Food Stamp EBT) benefit cards. No one will be denied a meal because of inability to contribute the suggested contribution.

Service is provided Monday through Friday and is initiated after an in-home assessment is completed by trained staff.

nTuesday: Ranch chicken breast, broccoli, garlic herbed cous cous, wheat bread slice, mandarin oranges.

nWednesday: Turkey salad, cucumber tomato salad, macaroni salad, wheat roll, pears.

nThursday: Rootbeer glazed ham, California blend vegetables, sweet potatoes, apple juice Rice Krispy treat.

nFriday: Lemon dill cod, snap pears, sweet potatoes, wheat bread slice, rice pudding.

Orleans County

The Orleans County Meals on Wheels program provides a hot nutritious meal delivered around noon time.

Extra cold meal available for supper (approved by case manager), and/or frozen weekend meals; suggested contribution $3 for noon meal, $5 for both hot and cold meals, and $6 for both freezer and weekend meals.

The program is a partnership between the Orleans County Office for the Aging and Arc of Genesee Orleans.
