BATAVIA — If you have nothing to do this Saturday, you might be able to give the St. Paul Lutheran School’s scavenger hunt a try.
St. Paul Principal Jason Clark said the school began planning its fundraiser in April. Families of St. Paul students who want to participate and haven’t filled out an entry form may mail theirs, along with $20, to the school or drop them in the drop slot at the church/school library. The school may be reached at 343-0488. Those interested may email Clark at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Even if you don’t have the form, you can join the hunt.
“All that we need is their name and email address along with the money. Basically the form was a way of collecting that information so as long as they include that, they can enter the event,” Clark said.
Those who aren’t part of St. Paul Lutheran School may be in the scavenger hunt. Clark said Sweet Life Country Store on South Main Street in Elba has had entry forms.
On Friday, all who signed up will be emailed clues that lead them to the different locations in this Saturday’s hunt. They have to drive to that location and take a picture of the location.
There is also a bonus point photo to take at each location, Clark said. For example, one location is a car dealership. The dealership is placing a big teddy bear in one of its cars. The entrants will have to photograph the teddy bear in the vehicle for the bonus point at that location. Once they complete the hunt, they submit all photos to Clark.
