Sheena Amanda Dilcher of Byron and Zachary James Mest of Strykerville were united March 14, 2014 at the Justice of the Peace in Jacksonville, N.C. The couple renewed their wedding vows with family and friends in New York on Nov. 22, 2014 at Bergen United Methodist Church in Bergen. The Rev. Matthew French performed the ceremony for the daughter of Dawn and Ryeder Dilcher of Byron and the son of Crista Mest of Medina and James Mest of Strykerville.
Michelle Dries of Bergen was the maid of honor. Brad Krajewski of Strykerville was best man.
Bridesmaids were Lauren Hughes of Elba, Amanda Mest of Attica, sister of the bridegroom and Stephanie Wolfe of Batavia.
Groomsmen were Jed Mest of Strykerville, cousin of the bridegroom, Mason Mest of Strykerville, brother of the bridegroom, Kyle Dilcher of Batavia, brother of the bride and Lcpl. Jason Mest of Strykerville, cousin of the bridegroom.
Lucy Mest of Strykerville, cousin of the bridegroom, was the flower girl. Zachary Pocock of Stafford, cousin of the bride, was the ringbearer.
A reception followed at the Gilliam-Grant Community Center in Bergen, where out-of-state guest attended from North Carolina.
The bride is a 2010 graduate of Byron-Bergen Central High School and attended for three years at Genesee Community College. She was a accommodation supervisor at Darien Lake and a housekeeper at Holiday Inn Express in Batavia. She is employed at Mainstay Suite in Jacksonville, N. C.
The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Attica Central School and is currently serving our country in the United States Marine Corps stationed at Camp LeJeune, Jacksonville, N.C.
The couple currently reside in Richlands, N.C.
