BATAVIA — A Batavia woman faces charges following an Aug. 12 narcotics investigation, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office reported Friday.
Desiree Hutchinson, 25, of Liberty Street, was found Friday by Det. Sgt. Lutey of the City of Batavia Police Department and arrested. Deputies say she’s charged with two counts of felony third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor second-degree criminal using drug paraphernalia and the violation of unlawful possession of marijuana. She was to be arraigned by Judge Durin Rogers.
On Aug. 12, the Batavia Emergency Response Team executed a warrant at 22 Hutchins Place stemming from a narcotics investigation by the Genesee County Local Drug Task Force. The City of Batavia Police Department, Genesee County Sheriff’s Office and Genesee County District Attorney’s Office assisted in the investigation.
