BUFFALO — The independent Rochester auditing firm of StoneBridge Business Partners has conducted a thorough audit of the policies and protocols of the Diocese of Buffalo with regard to training, reporting and ensuring safe environments for young people.
The policies and protocols are according the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ mandated Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People.
The audit found the Diocese to be in full compliance. The audit covers the period of 2019 to 2020.
The “Charter” is divided into 17 articles and begins with a review of efforts to provide healing for victims and survivors of child sexual abuse.
