WARSAW — A total of $300,000 in state funds were announced earlier this year to support the WCBAC Microenterprise Assistance Program.

The Wyoming County Business Assistance Corporation is reminding entrepreneurs that funding remains available and applications are still being accepted for the program.

The MAP initiative provides grant funding to micro-enterprises — businesses with five or fewer employees) — countywide with an emphasis on companies in the agri-business and tourism and hospitality industries.

The program supports both start-up and existing businesses which are expanding.

Grant awards will be made on a rolling, first-come first-served basis.
