Bank of America still closed in Batavia
BATAAVIA — A Bank of America spokesperson did not comment specifically whether the temporary closure of its branch at 100 Main St. in Batavia had to do with any positive COVID cases, but said the location has been closed since Monday.
“It’s likely to be reopened — we’re looking at toward the end of next week or early the week after,” the spokesperson said Thursday. “The health and safety of employees and clients is our No. 1 priority. Temporarily closing some financial centers, that is the step to protect clients and employees during the health crisis. We don’t state the reason for temporary closures in order to protect the confidentiality of our employees or clients.”
