BERGEN — Voters tonight, by a vote of 182-44, approved the Byron-Bergen Central School District’s proposed $17.1 million capital improvement project.
The work at Byron-Bergen Elementary School includes improvements to the boiler plant and domestic water system. At the Jr./Sr. High School, in addition to the window and roofing replacements, there will be mechanical system upgrades, water system upgrades, sanitary system improvement locker room renovations, track restoration, athletic field improvements, scoreboard upgrades and soccer stadium lighting replacement,
In the natatorium, there will be locker room renovations, boiler plant replacement, water system upgrades and pool equipment upgrades.
The district will have a bus parking improvements done at the bus garage.
