PERRY — As the weather turns to summer, vandalism and fights have been reported at the village park, Perry police said.
The latest vandalism involved damage to a restroom, including dividers pulled from a stall.
Area residents are reminded of the “no tolerance” policy toward such behavior.
“While we always encourage parental supervision, we ask that parents who trust their kids to visit the park unsupervised have conversations with them about being responsible young citizens,” said Chief Michael Grover in a Facebook post. “The park is intended to be a safe and fun place for all individuals and families. Acting in a disorderly, unsafe, or obscene manner will not be tolerated.”
