A Hutchins Place man has been arrested and charged with allowing drug dealers to use his home, city police said.
Robin S. Brooks, 58, was charged with first-degree criminal nuisance, a class E felony punishable by up to four years in prison.
Brooks is accused of receiving money in exchange for allowing people to use his residence to deal drugs.
His arrest comes a month after a raid at 22 Hutchins Place.
The raid resulted in felony drug charges against Donald Brown, 46, of Rochester, and Ronnie K. Johnson, 50, of 22 Hutchins Place. A third person, Madalyn R. Muntz, 34, of Hutchins Place, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession.
Later in the month, Angela R. Batement, 46, was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, fourth-degree possession, criminal use of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.
For Bateman, this was the second time in a year she has been targeted for dealing drugs.
In March 2019 she was one of five people charged with possession with intent to sell after 56 bags of crack were found in a raid at a Liberty Street apartment.
Last week, a fifth person was charged as a result of the investigation.
Desiree Hutchinson, 25, of Liberty Street, was charged with two counts of felony third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor second-degree criminal using drug paraphernalia and the violation of unlawful possession of marijuana.
