State and Rochester officials did not provide further details. The alert was canceled about 10:15 a.m. Tuesday.
ROCHESTER — An Amber Alert has been issued following a reported child abduction Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred about 4:30 p.m. on Myrtle Street, Rochester police said.
The child’s name is James S. Fernandez Reyes. He is a Hispanic male, about 14 years old with brown hair and brown eyes.
He is about 5 feet 3 inches and weighs about 120 pounds. He was last seen wearing black jacket, blue pants, white Nike Air Force One sneakers.
Reyes was possibly taken by four to five Black males with masks, Rochester police said. The vehicle is been identified as mid-sized gold spot utility vehicle with New York license plates. Its make and model were unknown. The vehicle was last seen northbound on Myrtle Street in Rochester.
Police to believe that Reyes is in imminent danger of serious harm or death. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Rochester Police Department at (585) 428-1107 or dial 911 to provide information on a report or sighting.
