ATTICA — Trustee positions in two villages will be the only contested races Tuesday in Wyoming County.

Voters will decide two trustee positions each in Attica and Silver Springs. Most other villages feature uncontested races or no races at all.

Voting will be conducted Sept. 15.

There are no positions up for election in Perry and Warsaw. The Village of Gainesville could not be immediately reached for its candidate information.

Elections will include: n Arcade — Republican Elwyn Roll is running unopposed to fill a one-year unexpired trustee term.

n Attica — Three people are running for two, two-year trustee positions.

They include incumbent Republicans Sandra Prusak and Matthew Sage, along with Democrat Gary Guralny. Guralny is also running on the New Attica ticket.

n Castile — Incumbent Republicans Dennis Miller and Dave Reed are running unopposed for two, two-year trustee positions.

n Silver Springs — Four people are seeking two, two-year trustee positions. They include incumbent Democrat Raymond King, Democrat Ann Bookmiller, and Republicans David Tallman and Sara Mattingly.

Incumbent Village Justice John Proper is running unopposed for re-election on both the Democratic and GOP lines. He will serve a two-year term.

n Wyoming — Two Republican incumbents are running unopposed for two-year trustee positions. They include Michael Lacey and Richard Bush.
