HUME — A woman on probation in Wyoming County for methamphetamine-making convictions was arrested Saturday and charged with beating another person with a baseball bat, state police said.
Lea M. Falcone, 36, of Fillmore and formerly of Pike, was charged with felony second-degree assault and second-degree menacing.
Troopers said Falcone allegedly beat another person with a bat while at a residence on West Main Street in the hamlet of Fillmore.
She was arraigned in Town Court and released on appearance tickets.
Falcone may face violation of probation charges in Wyoming County.
She was convicted in 2019 of felony conspiracy for her involvement in a meth-making operation.
She was initially sentenced to probation but violated terms and was sentenced in November 2019 to six months in jail and five years probation.
The case stemmed from a traffic stop in Warsaw in April 2018 where police found laboratory equipment and more than 2 ounces of liquid meth.
She was a passenger in the car, driven by Colin L. McMurty, 38, of Fillmore. He was sentenced to four years in state prison.
