Add another charge to the list.
A day after career criminal Edward G. Ruckkeschel was charged with stealing a car from a Liberty Street residence in December, investigators lodged another car theft charge.
Ruckdeschel on Tuesday was charged with third-degree grand larceny, accused of stealing a car from a residence in Pembroke on Jan. 13.
That car theft happened just five days after Ruckdeschel allegedly stole a car from an Orleans County location and led police on a high-speed chase that ended in Wheatland.
Ruckdeschel was released on appearance tickets at the time and is believed to have continued stealing cars.
Monday, Ruckdeschel was charged with stealing a car in December, when he was on parole after serving a state prison term, his sixth, for stealing cars in Monroe County.
He was released on appearance tickets Monday but was jailed Tuesday after the new charge was filed by Genesee County Sheriff’s Department.
