Two Rochester men are facing drug possession charges after Genesee County Sheriff’s deputies investigated a vehicle parked on Route 33 in Stafford early Saturday morning.
Jamar A. Malana, 23, of Culver Road was charged with seven-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Deputies responded to the scene at about 1:25 a.m. and found Malana and a male passenger to allegedly be in possession of a controlled substance. Malana was also found to be operating the vehicle without a valid New York State driver’s license.
Also charged was Mark Davoona Edwards, 23, of Ontario Street. He was cited with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Malana and Edwards were both released on appearance tickets returnable Oct. 6 in Stafford Town Court.
