WARSAW — An impaired driving crackdown is underway in Wyoming County.

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office and other police agencies will be be out in full force to insure a safe Labor Day for all, deputies said in a news release. Special enforcement efforts will run through Monday.

During this time, drivers can expect targeted DWI patrols and possible sobriety checkpoints. Deputies said reckless and impaired driving will not be tolerated.

“If you see an impaired driver on the road, call local law enforcement,” the deputies said. “You could save a life.”
