SHELDON — A Varysburg man was charged Monday after what might be described as a spree of bad behavior.
Philip J. Grillo, 42, had been the subject of multiple complaints over two days, Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies said. He was allegedly yelling at neighbors and driving an all-terrain vehicle erratically through a mobile home park.
The landowner ultimately told Grillo to stay off parts of the property, but he later re-entered, deputies said. He then allegedly fought with deputies and state police tried to take him into custody.
Grillo was charged with trespassing and resisting arrest. He is to appear July 13 in Wyoming County Court.
An order of protection was issued.
