BATAVIA — A fourth person has now been arrested on drug charges as a result of a police raid on a Hutchins Place residence earlier this month, Genesee County sheriff’s investigators said.
Angela R. Bateman, 46, of West Main Street Road had been wanted on drug charges as a result of an investigation that led to the Aug. 12 raid at 22 Hutchins Place.
Bateman was not at the residence at the time of the raid. She was found by city of Batavia police Monday.
Bateman was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, fourth-degree possession, criminal use of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.
She was taken to Genesee County Jail for processing and that’s where officers found her in possession of fentanyl.
Bateman faces additional charges of felony promoting prison contraband and misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The raid resulted in felony drug charges against Donald Brown, 46, of Rochester, and Ronnie K. Johnson, 50, of 22 Hutchins. A third person, Madalyn R. Muntz, 34, of Hutchins, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession.
For Bateman, this was the second time in a year she has been targeted for dealing drugs.
In March 2019 she was one of five people charged with possession with intent to sell after 56 bags of crack were found in a raid at a Liberty Street apartment.
