WARSAW — A Le Roy man was indicted in Wyoming County Court Thursday on charges that he repeatedly sexually assaulted a child.
Buddy Moore Jr., 45, entered a not guilty plea to an indictment charging him with one count of predatory sexual assault against a child and first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child.
The predatory charge carries a maximum penalty of life in prison.
Moore was arrested four weeks ago after a village of Warsaw police investigation into allegations that he repeatedly abused a girl from August 2005 to February 2011. The girl was 5 when the alleged abuse began, police said at the time.
Moore remains in Wyoming County Jail. Judge Michael Mohun set bail at $250,000.
