WARSAW - An Arcade man who was already on his way to prison for repeated arrests for domestic violence pleaded guilty last week to five felonies.
David M. Smith, 34, had been indicted by a Wyoming County grand jury in July and charged with 107 counts of aggravated family offense, a felony.
Smith was in Wyoming County Jail awaiting transfer to state prison when he repeatedly violated an order of protection by contacting the victim.
He pleaded guilty Thursday in County Court to five counts of aggravated family offense, punishable by up to four years in prison.
Smith was transferred in July from the jail and is now at Groveland Correctional Facility, where he is serving a 30-month to seven-year term for first-degree criminal contempt of court nad aggravated family offense.
Also in County Court:
- Stephen Sampson, 43, of Warsaw was sentenced to 18 months to three years in state prison for aggravated family offense for repeatedly violating orders of protection.
- Daniel Crimbring Sr., 53, of Varysburg was sentenced to 364 days in jail for criminal possession of precursors to methamphetamine.
- Daniel R. Tillotson, 34, of Buffalo waived indictment on charges of felony aggravated unlicensed operation, misdemeanor DWI and open container and pleaded guilty to DWI. He was sentenced to three years probation.
