NUNDA — A Nunda woman is facing eight felony counts following an investigation into the sale of prescription pain medication in the Nunda and Portage area, reports the Livingston County Drug Task Force.
Amber L. Garwood, 28, was arrested Sept. 23 on a Livingston County Superior Court indictment charging her with four counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, and four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both charges are Class B felonies.
The arrest and investigation allege the sale of oxycodone.
Garwood was arraigned in Livingston County Court. She was released on her own recognizance and is to appear in court at a later date.
The Livingston County Drug Task Force is comprised of members of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, the Avon, Caledonia, Geneseo, Dansville, Mount Morris and Nunda Police departments; and the Livingston County District Attorney’s Office.
