BATAVIA — A Rochester man still on parole for a previous drug-dealing arrest in Genesee County was arrested again Wednesday after a Genesee County Drug Task Force investigation.
Randy J. Dumbleton Jr., aka “Chubb,’ was stopped on Washington Avenue shortly after he allegedly sold crack cocaine.
Dumbleton, 37, was charged with third-degree criminal sale and criminal possession of a controlled substance, driving while impaired by drugs and alcohol, unregistered car, no front plate, switched plates, uninsured motor vehicle, consuming alcohol in a car and refusing a breath test.
He was arraigned and committed to Genesee County Jail without bail because of previous felony convictions.
Dumbleton served two state prison terms.
He was convicted of armed robbery in Monroe County in 2006 and served eight years in prison.
In 2016, while still on parole, he was convicted of dealing drugs in Genesee County and was sentenced to four years and six months.
He was released June 26, 2019 and is on supervision until 2023.
