WARSAW — A Warsaw man released from prison in April after serving three years for beating his girlfriend with a baseball bat was indicted on five counts of felony domestic violence charges.
Cory M. Goodenow, 27, was charged with five counts of aggravated family offense during an appearance in Wyoming County Court Wednesday.
Goodenow was released from prison April 22 after serving nearly three years of a 30-month to five-year term. He is on parole until Jan. 4 and on supervision until April 7, 2024.
He was convicted of assault, coercion and aggravated family offense for beating his girlfriend with a bat. That arrest came just two weeks after he was released from another prison term, that one for raping a girl under 15 years old.
He was re-arrested in August after attacking a woman, chocking her and for violating parole.
He is to appear again in court in January for argument of motions in his case.
