DARIEN — Paul K. Kellner Jr., 53, of Alden was charged with DWI after a crash on Genesee Street last week, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

He also was charged with moving from a lane unsafely, speed not reasonable and drinking in a car. He is to appear June 1 in Town Court.

BATAVIA — Three people face drug charges after a traffic stop on East Avenue April 14, city police said.

Richard Burdick, 43,, Christopher Weigman, 32, and Lisa Fox, 49, all were charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance.

BATAVIA — Dawn Lockwood, 51, of Batavia was charged with petit larceny for stealing money from another person, city police said.

She is to appear May 4 in City Court.

BATAVIA — Michael Lytle, 32, of Batavia was charged with DWI after he was kicked out of a bar on Harvester Avenue and then returning in a car April 18, city police said.

He is to appear July 20 in City Court.

MURRAY — James T. Johnson, 21, of Brockport was charged with second-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child, state police said.

He is accused of raping a child under 15 years old in 2019.

BYRON — Kari A. Schreib, 36, of Byron was charged with four counts of identity theft, state police said.

She also was charged with petit larceny and second-degree forgery.

BENNINGTON — Investigation of a one-vehicle rollover accident on Monday resulted in charges against an Attica man, Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies said.

Deputies arrived and spoke with driver Nathan P. Helak. Further investigation allegedly revealed he was intoxicated.

Helak was taken to the Sheriff’s Office in Warsaw for processing. While there, he allegedly damaged an office chair intentionally.

Helak was charged with felony DWI, felony aggravated DWI, felony driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more, moving from lane unsafely and criminal mischief. He is to appear in both Bennington Town Court and Warsaw Village Court on May 17.

Attica police and Bennington firefighters assisted at the scene.

PERRY — An Erie County man was charged Sunday after he was caught with anabolic steroids during a traffic stop, Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies said.

Jeremy W. Crafts, 22, of Blasdell was stopped on Route 20A, deputies said. His driver’s license was allegedly found to be suspended.

Crafts was also found to possess glass tubes which contained drostanolone and testosterone, deputies said.

Crafts was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving with a suspended registration, driving an uninsured vehicle, and driving an uninspected vehicle. He is to appear May 12 in Town Court.

MIDDLEBURY — Investigation of a vehicle in a ditch resulted in charges against a Perry woman, Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies said.

Deputies responded about 6:39 p.m. to West Middlebury Rd. They allegedly found that the vehicle was in the north ditch facing east, meaning it had crossed into the oncoming lane.

The vehicle’s driver, Kelly A. Everts, 38, was allegedly found to be intoxicated.

Everts was charged with DWI, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more, and failure to keep right. She is to appear in Town Court at a later date.
