MEDINA — Village police charged the following people:
n Joseph R. Sulzbach, 26, of Depew was charged with third-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing, criminal mischief and menacing.
n William A. Nichols II, 27, was charged with second-degree assault, resisting arrest, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
n Luis E. Martinez, 35, of Medina was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, failure to stop at a stop sign, crossing road hazard markings, failure to keep right, failure to use lane and failure to notify DMV of an address change.
BATAVIA — City police charged the following people in recent weeks:
n Joshua K. Williams Sr., 29, of Batavia was charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon, felony criminal contempt of court, menacing, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.
He is accused of attempting to hit a person with a brick, a person with an order of protection against him. He was jailed with bail set at $5,000.
n Emery Green, 32, of Batavia was charged with criminal possession of a weapon while on school grounds. He is to appear April 13 in City Court.
n James F. Perry, 36, of Batavia was charged with felony criminal contempt of court. He was jailed with bail set at $10,000.
n Paula Pierce, 29, of Batavia was charged on a warrant with failure to appear in court.
n Rae Cook, 32, of Batavia was charged with harassment after a disturbance complaint.
n Alexandro Rodriguez, 24, was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree robbery for punching a person in the face and stealing property from her.
NEWSTEAD — Ross C. Poodry, 32, of Akron was charged with felony DWI with a child in the car after he was stopped at 5 p.m. Saturday, state police said.
He also was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI for having a blood alcohol content of more than .18 percent, no registration and aggravated unlicensed operation.
COVINGTON — A town man was charged April 1 after a criminal mischief complaint, Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies said.
Rodell L. Richardson, 59, intentionally damaged a vehicle’s tires, deputies said. He was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and an order of protection was issued.
Richardson is to appear April 16 in Town Court.
