LE ROY — A Vallance Road man faces DWI and other charges after he drove into another car head-on Friday night, village police said.
James A. Centner, 41, was turning from Tops onto West Main Street when he hit another car, injuring the driver.
He was charged with DWI and numerous violations, including failure to use designated lane, open container and refusing a breath test.
He also may face charges for another minor crash in the Tops parking lot moments before the 7 p.m. head-on crash.
BATAVIA — City police charged the following people during the past two weeks:
n Cody Middlebrooks, 30, of Pearl Street was charged with felony criminal mischief for damaging a cell phone and, in a second incident, with harassment and first-degree coercion for threatening a person during a domestic dispute.
n Lisa A. Way, 52, of Ellicott Street was charged with DWI and refusing a breath test after she crashed her car behind a house on Ellicott.
n Samantha L. Wroblewski, 31, of West Main Street was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance for possessing cocaine.
n Chazmar T. Walters Sr., 28, of Le Roy was charged with obstruction of governmental administration and unlawful possession of marijuana.
n Christian M. Deluna, 19, of Central Avenue was charged with burglary, harassment, criminal mischief and conspiracy for unlawfully entering an apartment on North Spruce Street.
n Patrick O. Spikes, 39, of West Main Street Road was charged with attempted petit larceny for trying to steal from Speedway.
n Ethan M. Conrad, 20, of South Main Street was charged with DWI after he crashed into a guard rail on the River Street bridge.
BATAVIA — William A. Nichols, 27, of Holley and Renee I. Brown, 40, of Batavia were charged with petit larceny and conspiracy for stealing $122.95 worth of items from BJ’s, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.
They are to appear Jan. 7 in Town Court.
