BERGEN — An Alexander woman who in November was arrested for possessing drugs with a child in the car faces new drug charges, state police said.

Carrie A. Stewart, 40, was charged Friday with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal impersonation for allegedly giving police a fake name, troopers said.

Stewart, on a warrant from November, was arrested after an investigation into an incident in February.

Stewart had dropped her child off at school. She was pulled over a short time later after a deputy recognized her and knew she had no valid license. Suspected drugs were found in the car and were sent to a lab for testing. The results showed she was found with heroin, fentanyl and cocaine.

A warrant was issued and Stewart could not be found until recently.

LE ROY — Yaidimar Rosa, 32, of Buffalo was charged with DWI after she was stopped at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, state police said.

She is to appear at a later date in Town Court.

PERRY — Michael J. Stack, 44, of Le Roy was charged with driving while impaired by drugs after he was stopped at 10:45 p.m. Sunday, state police said.

He is to appear at a later date in Town Court.

Stack also may face other charges as he is on post-release supervision until 2034 for a 2015 sex abuse conviction. He served four years in prison and was released in April 2019.

BATAVIA — Christopher J.R. Diers, 38, of Ellicott Street was charged with third-degree burglary and petit larceny after allegedly stealing from Walmart, where he had been banned for previous shoplifting incidents, Genesee County sheriffs

Diers was jailed pending arraignment.

BERGEN — Cecilio Alonzo-Martinez, 33, of Perry was charged with DWI after he was found stopped on Route 19 Jan. 31, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

He is to appear at a later date in Town Court.

BATAVIA — Zachary J.W. Marrow, 29, of Manhattan Avenue was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court for a DWI charge, city police said.

He is to appear March 18 in City Court.
