BERGEN — Ida M. Vanorden, 35, of Batavia was charged with assaulting two people while on North Avenue July 14, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

She was charged with attempted second-degree assault and third-degree assault and is to appear Aug. 11 in Town Court.

BATAVIA — Cynthia M. Gosier, 36, of Maple Street was charged with petit larceny for stealing from Walmart, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

She is to appear Aug. 17 in Town Court.

MEDINA — Village police charged the following people in recent weeks:

n Meletzy Baity-Medina, 41, of Medina was charged with harassment and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

n Todd C. Griffith, 53, of Middleport was charged with falsely reporting an incident.

n Madisson B. Callara, 21, of Medina was charged with DWI and failure to keep right.

n Xavier M. Hand, 24, of Medina was charged with DWI and failure to keep right.

n Bryan D. Bates Jr., 42, of Albion was charged with felony aggravated criminal contempt.

BATAVIA — Ray Saile, 19, of Batavia was charged with criminal contempt of court for violating an order of protection, state police said.

He is to appear at a later date in Town Court.

BATAVIA — Richard D. Sanderson, 38, of Lyons Street was charged with criminal contempt of court for violating an order of protection, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

He is to appear Aug. 12 in Town Court.

BATAVIA — A State Street man was charged with stealing from Walmart three times in four days, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

Antonio J. Goodson, 31, was charged with three counts of petit larceny after he allegedly stole from Walmart Thursday, Saturday and again on Sunday.

He is to appear Aug. 12 in Town Court.

ALBION — Dustin C. Herzog, 33, of Albion faces numerous charges after an investigation into a domestic violence report Monday night, state police said.

Herzog is charged with menacing, criminal mischief, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use.

He was committed to Orleans County Jail.
