BATAVIA — A city woman is facing several charges after a traffic stop Sunday on Elm Street, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

Stephanie L. Salcido, 31, of 47 Walden Creek Drive was charged with DWI, driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol, driving a motor vehicle on a sidewalk, failure to obey a stop sign and failure to keep right, deputies said. She is to appear June 16 in City Court.

DARIEN — A complaint at a local theme park on Sunday resulted in charges against a Cheektowaga woman, Genesee County deputies said.

Haley C. Keyser, 35, of Strasbourg Drive allegedly subjected a victim to physical harm, and yelled obscenities and racial slurs in a public place, deputies said.

Keyser was charged with aggravated harassment and disorderly conduct. She is to appear June 17 in Town Court.

BYRON — A town man was jailed Saturday after a domestic incident at an East Main Street residence, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

Matthew J. Zon, 39, of East Main Street was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and criminal obstruction of breathing, deputies said. He was committed to Genesee County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail and is to appear June 28 in County Court.

TONAWANDA INDIAN RESERVATION — A resident was charged Thursday after a domestic incident involving a knife, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

Investigation at the scene allegedly revealed that Ray Spencer-Lindqui Saile, 19, of Judge Road made another person fear injury.

BATAVIA — A city man was charged May 27 after he threw a rock at another person during an altercation at DeWitt Park, city police said.

Zachari Morgan, was charged with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said. He was released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.

The victim was struck in the head, police said.

BATAVIA — A city man turned himself in May 18 at Genesee County Jail, city police said.

Kevin Q. Thomas, 32, was wanted for first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree criminal contempt, second-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.

The charges stem from a May 4 domestic incident, police said.

MACHIAS — A Strykersville woman was charged May 22 after a traffic stop on Hazelmere Avenue, state police said.

Melanie Toland, 43, allegedly failed field sobriety tests, troopers said. She was charged with DWI and is to appear in Town Court at a later date.

JAVA — An Orchard Park woman is facing felony charges after a traffic stop Saturday on Pee Dee Road, Wyoming Cunty sheriff’s deputies said.

Destinee A. Loyd, 33, was pulled over for allegedly driving with an expired inspection certificate, said Sgt. Colin Reagan. Further investigation allegedly revealed she possessed concentrated cannabis.

Loyd also failed field sobriety tests and was found to be under the influence of multiple drugs, deputies said. She allegedly had two children, ages 7 and 8, in her vehicle.

Loyd was charged with two counts of felony aggravated DWI and one count each of driving while ability impaired by drugs, driving while ability impaired by a combination of drugs, and driving an uninspected vehicle.
