ALABAMA — A Church Street man faces felony gun charges after a raid on his house Friday morning, Genesee County Drug Task Force agents said.

Mark C.J. Cook Sr., 30, was charged with five counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of criminal possession of a firearm.

Police found brass knuckles, two “kung fu stars” and two revolvers.

More charges are pending.

Cook also was wanted in Batavia for criminal use of drug paraphernalia and for a Family Court violation.

STAFFORD — Kyle J. Gugel, 35, of Le Roy was charged with DWI after he was stopped May 18 on Route 33, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

He also was charged with refusing a breath test and is to appear Tuesday in Town Court.

WARSAW — James P. Liddy, 35, of Attica was charged with petit larceny for allegedly stealing from Walmart, Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies said.

He is to appear at a later date in Town Court.

BENNINGTON — Paul Mioducki, 42, of Bennington was charged with third-degree grand larceny for allegedly stealing more than $16,000 from another person, Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies said.

He allegedly forged personal checks.

ALEXANDER — Patrick L. Waite, 53, of Alexander Road was charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly playing loud music after several complaints to police, Genesee deputies said.

He is to appear June 8 in Town Court.

ELBA — An Ohio man faces charges after an investigation into a traffic stop and stolen car complaint May 12, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

Terry E. Gamble Jr., 25, of Columbus was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property for allegedly driving a car reported stolen from Columbus, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, unlicensed operation and felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Deputies found a gun magazine capable of holding more than 10 rounds in the car. A passenger, Abralee Maynard also was charged with possessing stolen property.

Gamble was jailed with bail set at $10,000. Maynard was released.

COVINGTON — A Monroe County woman faces drug charges after a traffic stop on Route 63 Wednesday, Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies said.

Ashley J. Jelfo, 21, of West Henrietta was stopped for allegedly speeding 74 in a 55 mph zone. Sgt. Colin Reagan said he could smell marijuana, leading to a search of the car.

Jelfo was allegedly found to possess marijuana and cocaine.

She was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia, driving while impaired by drugs, consuming cannabis in a car, no inspection and speeding.

BATAVIA — City police charged the following people during the past two weeks:

n Justin Thagard, 32, was charged with felony criminal contempt of court and was jailed with bail set at $2,500.

n Eladio A. Wattles, 23, was charged with misdemeanor criminal contempt of court.

n Emonie R. Schichler, 18, was charged with disseminating indecent material to a minor.

n Daniel J. Difrancesco, 39, was charged with harassment for allegedly threatening to kill someone and banging on his or her window with a hockey stick.

n Adam T. Shipwash, 41, was charged on a warrant with petit larceny for allegedly stealing money from a person and for failing to appear in court.

n Robert Wood, 30, was charged with felony criminal contempt and was jailed without bail.

n Darren Ayrhart, 52, was charged with felony criminal contempt of court and burglary. He was jailed without bail.

n Michael L. Jackson Jr., 40, was charged with petit larceny for allegedly stealing from a store.

ALBION — Robert J. Wittenzellner, 53, of Gasport was charged with third-degree grand larceny and petit larceny, state police said.

He is to appear at a later date in Town Court.

ALBION — Randall P. VanHouten, 27, of Albion was charged with DWI after he was stopped at 9:45 p.m. Friday, state police said.

He is to appear at a later date in Town Court.

BATAVIA — Three Buffalo residents were charged with possessing stolen property, state police said.

Gary Camero, 50, Steven D. Cameron, 47 and Shelby M. McElwain, 26, all were charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. McElwain also was charged with possessing a controlled substance.

BYRON — Sege D. Kalmbacher, 45, of Churchville was charged with DWI after he was stopped at 9:45 p.m. Friday, state police said.

He also was charged with aggravated DWI for having a blood alcohol content of more than .18 percent and aggravated unlicensed operation.

RIDGEWAY — Alaina M. Reece, 20, of Medina was charged with third-degree assault, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief, state police said.

She is accused of assaulting a person and damaging property.

BENNINGTON — Brandon D. Forsyth, 29, of Corfu was charged with DWI after he was stopped at 8 p.m. Friday, state police said.

He is to appear at a later date in Town Court.

COWLESVILLE — David J. Smith, 52, of Cowlesville was charged with third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing after an investigation into a domestic dispute, state police said.

He is to appear at a later date in Town Court.

WARSAW — A Buffalo man was jailed May 10 after a traffic stop on Route 20A, village police said.

Jose A. Alvarado-Navarro, 31, was found to possess loaded firearm in his vehicle, police said. He was charged with felony second-degree criminal possession of a firearm, and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Alvarado-Navarro was committed to Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail and is to appear in Village Court at a later date.

WARSAW — A Tonawanda man was charged May 11 after he rang up charges on another person’s credit card without permission, village police said.

Michael C. Muraco, 38, turned himself in at the police station. He was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and petit larceny.

Muraco was scheduled to appear May 17 in Village Court.
