BATAVIA — City police charged the following people during the past two weeks:

n Matthew W. Kurtz Sr., 52, of Batavia was charged with attempted third-degree assault, criminal mischief and harassment after an investigation into a domestic violence complaint where he shoved a person and threw an object at the person’s head.

n Jesslyn F. Bigelow, 24, of Batavia was charged with DWI, no insurance and no registration.

n Christine Caplis, no age or address, was charged with theft of services for not paying her bill at a restaurant.

n Michael Robbins, 61, of Batavia was charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance for possessing meth and fentanyl.

BATAVIA — Ziyad Z. Alhojaji, 22, of Rochester was charged with petit larceny for stealing from Walmart, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

He is to appear Dec. 21 in Town Court.

BATAVIA — Tonya M. Weber, 37, of Liberty Street was charged with petit larceny for stealing from Five Below, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

She is to appear Dec. 2 in Town Court.

LE ROY — Jonathan M. Reed, 28, of Lake Street was charged with failure to abide by sex offender registry rules, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

He was charged with two counts of failure to notify address/internet accounts as a sex offender and was committed to jail pending an appearance in Town Court.

Reed is a Level 2 offender who served a three-year prison term for sexually assaulting two underage girls in 2016.

STAFFORD — Jeffery M. Johnson, 33, of Lake Street was charged with driving while impaired by drugs after he was stopped on Main Road Nov. 13, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

He is to appear Dec. 7 in Town Court.

BERGEN — James M. Fodge Jr., 49, of North Lake Road was charged with DWI after he was stopped on Buffalo Road Nov. 11, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

He is to appear Dec. 1 in Town Court.

BERGEN — Jameson A. Crocker, 34, of Stafford was charged with DWI after he was stopped on Clinton Street Road Nov. 11, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

He also was charged with refusing a breath test, failure to keep right, driving to the left on a crest grade or curve, driving to the left of pavement markings and littering.

OAKFIELD — James C. Malone, 24, of South Pearl Street was charged with criminal mischief for taking a phone and preventing a person from calling 911 during a dispute, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

He is to appear Dec. 6 in Town Court.

GAINESVILLE — Jason W. Marshall, 36, of Portageville was charged with driving while impaired by drugs after a traffic stop on Route 19A Nov. 16, Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies said.

He also was charged with no front plante and is to appear at a later date in Town Court.

MEDINA — Village police charged the following people during the past two weeks:

n Matthew D. Walker, 20, of Niagara Falls was charged with felony criminal contempt of court, burglary, aggravated family offense, aggravated harassment, intimidating a witness. second-degree criminal contempt of court, endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of criminal mischief, third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing.

n Valerie S. Wells, 55, of Medina was charged with DWI.

n Andrew L. Coley, 23, of Medina was charged with false personation.

n Kevin T. Dukes II, 32, of Lockport was charged with criminal contempt of court.

n Karen M. Hudomint, 35, of Medina was charged with menacing and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

BATAVIA — Crystal S. Duncan, 36, of Batavia was charged with DWI after she was stopped at 10:30 p.m. Nov. 12, state police said.

She is to appear at a later date in Town Court.

ALBION — John D. Holladay, 61, of Medina was charged with DWI after he was stopped at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, state police said.

He also was charged with aggravated DWI for having a blood alcohol content of more than .18 percent.

BATAVIA — Matthew M. Vanvorce, 33, of Vestal was charged with DWI after he was stopped at 6 p.m. Tuesday, state police said.

He also was charged with aggravated DWI.
