BYRON — Carrie A. Clay, 27, of Albion was charged on a warrant with entering a house and attacking a person with a hammer, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.
Clay turned herself in Wednesday on charges stemming from a domestic violence report Sept. 25.
She is charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree assault and criminal mischief.
Clay allegedly attacked the person, was thrown out of the house, but came back and broke into the house and tried to attack the person again.
The victim was injured, but refused medical treatment, deputies said.
Clay was committed to jail with bail set at $5,000.
STAFFORD — Wendy M. Rivera, 56, of Albion was charged with stalking and harassment, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.
She is accused of following and harassing a person with her car and is to appear at a later date in Town Court.
PERRY — Jacob L. Ganoe, 23, was charged with aggravated DWI with a child in the car after he was stopped for traffic violations at Dollar General parking lot Wednesday, village police said.
Ganoe also was charged with failure to keep right, DWI and endangering the welfare of a child and is to appear Oct. 12 in Village Court.
MEDINA — Village police charged the following people during the past two weeks:
n Madisson B. Callara, 21, of Medina was charged with DWI, failure to keep right, failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and no signal.
n Charles J. Knapp, 52, of Medina was charged with criminal trespassing and harassment.
n Thomas A. Knight, 56, and Damien R. Hunt, 19, both of Medina were charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child and four counts of menacing.
n Paul W. Knapp, 44, of Rochester was charged with DWI and improper u-turn.
n Isaac Jackson, 20, of Medina was charged with menacing and criminal nuisance.
