PEMBROKE — A Darien man has been charged in connection with July 19 collision on Reed Road, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.
Norman J. Humel, 62, of Sumner Road was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, unreasonable speed, moving from lane unsafely, failure to keep right and refusal to take a breath test. He was released on an appearance ticket and is due to appear Thursday in Pembroke Town Court.
BATAVIA — A Dutchess County man was charged Aug. 25 in connection with a 2017 burglary on Elm Street, city police said.
Zachary S. Natale, 28, of Beacon was charged A with fourth-degree grand larceny and second-degree burglary.
Natale, who is currently incarcerated in the Fishkill Correctional Facility on unrelated charges, was held without bail. He is scheduled to reappear Oct. 19 in Batavia City Court.
BATAVIA — Eric P. Doleman, 51, of Pembroke was charged Aug. 24 with petit larceny and first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, Batavia city police said Sunday.
Doleman was charged after an investigation into the use of counterfeit money at a local business, where he allegedly knowingly used a counterfeit $100 bill. He was arraigned in City Court and sent to the Genesee County Jail without bail.
Doleman was due to appear at a later date in Batavia City Court.
DARIEN — A Darien man was charged Tuesday with petit larceny, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.
Delton B. Paul stole items from a department store on Alleghany Road, deputies said. He is to appear today in Town Court.
BATAVIA — A Rochester resident was charged Sunday in connection with a stolen cellphone, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.
Jomaine D. Johnson, 38, of Lozier Street found and took possession of a Samsung Galaxy S20 smartphone at Batavia Downs, deputies said. He allegedly later pawned the phone in Gates, Monroe County.
Johnson was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. He is to appear Sept. 21 in Town Court.
WARSAW — A traffic stop on Aug. 25 resulted in charges against an Eagle woman, Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies said.
Paige I. Mitchell, 23, was stopped on Oatka Road, said Deputy Vaughn Collingridge. She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
She is to appear Sept. 13 in Town Court.
WARSAW — A Wyoming County Jail inmate has been charged after allegedly trying to call a person who had a “stay away” order of protection against him.
Michael A. Sweet, 35, of Varysburg was charged Tuesday with two counts of second-degree criminal contempt, Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies said. He is to appear in Village Court at a later date.
