BATAVIA — Amanda L. Huber, 39, of Main Street was charged with petit larceny for stealing from a store by swapping price tags on items, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

She allegedly was at a store on Veterans Memorial Drive when she swapped tags on expensive items. She is to appear Oct. 19 in Town Court.

BATAVIA — City police charged the following people in recent weeks:

n McKenzie N. O’Connell, 18, of Rochester was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. She is accused of encouraging/exposing children ages 12-15 to engage in sexual behavior.

n Winston A. Lockhart, 26, of Batavia was charged with criminal contempt of court.

n Rachil J. Oliver, 49, of Le Roy was charged with DWI.

BATAVIA — Kelly G. McCoy, 27, of Rochester was charged with driving while impaired by drugs after she was stopped at 1:30 a.m. Sunday on Route 33, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

She also was charged with failure to keep right.

SHELBY — Tanya M. Kopp, 32, of Shelby was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, state police said.

She is to appear at a later date in Town Court.

GAINES — Demetrius J. Spinks, 50, of Gaines was charged with criminal contempt of court for violating an order of protection, state police said.

He was committed to jail pending an appearance in Town Court.

SILVER SPRINGS — Joshua J. Salada, 24, of Silver Springs was charged with DWI after he was stopped at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, state police said.

He is to appear at a later date in Village Court.
