OAKFIELD — A town of Alabama man was charged Sunday after an incident during Labor Daze, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.
Ray S. Saile, 19, of Judge Road allegedly violated an order of protection that required him to stay away from a female, deputies said. He was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and is to appear Monday in Town Court.
BATAVIA — A city woman was charged Thursday with second-degree burglary and second-degree criminal contempt, city police said.
Destiny Green, 25, was charged after investigation of a theft from a residence where she was inside, police said. She is to appear Sept. 16 in City Court.
BATAVIA — A burglary investigation has resulted in charges against a Batavia man, city police said.
Michael Robbins, 61, entered a building unlawfully on Aug. 1 and stole a variety of material, police said. He was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and third-degree burglary.
Robbins was committed to Genesee County Jail.
BERGEN — A village man was charged Sept. 2 after he was caught with drugs and brass knuckles during a traffic stop, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.
Steven S. Johnson, 57, was stopped on South Lake Avenue, deputies said. He was allegedly found to be impaired by drugs.
Johnson was then found to have cocaine on his person, deputies said. A pair of brass knuckles was allegedly found in his vehicle.
Johnson, of South Lake Avenue, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, driving while ability impaired by drugs, and a headlight violation. He is to appear Oct. 11 in Town Court.
