SHELDON — A South Carolina woman is facing several charges after reports of a vehicle driving into oncoming traffic, Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies said.
The incident was reported Saturday on Route 78, said Sgt. Colin Reagan and Deputy Amy Nowak.
Deputies responded to the area and allegedly found Rolinda P. Little, 59, of North Charleston passed out behind the wheel in the Kwik Fill parking lot. They said she showed signs of impairment after being woken up and failing field sobriety tests.
A search of Little’s vehicle revealed methamphetamine, suspected cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and a metal knuckle knife, deputies said. Her vehicle was towed from the scene.
Little was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, and two counts each of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Little was released in accordance with state bail reform laws and is to appear Sept. 20 in Town Court.
RIDGEWAY — A Ridgeway man faces felony drug and weapon charges after police were called to investigate a report of gunshots the morning of Sept. 1.
Paul R. Gulczewski, 28, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a loaded firearm, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon for having an illegal ammunition clip, two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell for having cocaine and misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He was committed to Orleans County Jail.
MEDINA — Village police charged the following people in recent weeks:
n Hayden Todd-Flick, 27, of Medina was charged with criminal trespass.
n Keesean D. Barnes, 24, of Medina was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing.
n Brandon P. Taylor, 40, of Albion was charged with petit larceny.
n Gary B. Clark Jr., 43, of Waterport was charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
n Courtney Purucker, 23, of Medina was charged with petit larceny.
n Nathaniel D. Bentley, 29, of Medina was charged with unlawful fleeing a police officer, unlicensed operator, speeding, reckless driving an ATV and numerous traffic tickets.
n Lakeeem C. Wright, 31, of Medina was charged with false personation, aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation and obstructed vision.
n Shelby N. Blosenhauer, 29, of Medina was charged with aggravated DWI with a child in the car, DWI and endangering the welfare of a child.
n Kreisandra R. Colon, 30, of Lyndonville was charged with petit larceny, conspiracy and criminal possession of stolen property.
n David L. Vercruysse, 47, of Medina was charged with criminal trespass.
