LE ROY — A Batavia man faces felony charges after he was found with a gun and drugs during a traffic stop on Route 19 early Monday morning.
Andreseaga A. Arteaga, 22, of Harvester Avenue, also was determined to be high on drugs at the time of the traffic stop.
Deputies stopped Arteaga for weaving about 7:30 a.m. and found him in possession of a gun and methamphetamine. He also had a previous DWI conviction.
Arteaga was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felony driving while impaired by drugs, misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony aggravated unlicensed operation, using a car without a court-ordered Interlock device, unlawful possession of marijuana, open container, driving to the left of pavement markings and failure to signal a turn.
He was arraigned and released under supervision of Genesee Justice.
