YORKSHIRE — A traffic stop on Block Road Wednesday led to drug charges against three men, state police said.

Austin M. Pleace, 22, of Delevan, Evan M. Black, 24, of Arcade and Kyle D. Barber, 31, of Townville, Pa., all possessed methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, troopers said.

The three were charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

The three were transported to state police barracks in Machias, were Pleace failed field sobriety tests. A drug recognition expert evaluated Pleace and determined he was impaired by meth.

Pleace was charged with driving while impaired by drugs.

All three were released and are to appear at a later date in Town Court.
