BATAVIA — A Batavia woman faces felony charges after she allegedly used a weapon to assault an incompetent elderly person early Sunday morning, state police said.
State police were called to a residence just after 3 a.m. for a reported domestic dispute.
An investigation led to charges against Jessica J. Stocum, 44.
Stocum is charged with felony second-degree assault with a weapon, felony endangering the welfare of an incompetent person, endangering the welfare of a vulnerable elderly person by causing serious injury and criminal possession of a weapon.
Stocum was arraigned and committed to jail with bail set at $10,000.
No other details were released.
