Driver hits man and dog

BATAVIA — A Rochester woman faces charges after she allegedly kicked patrol car windows “at least 71 times” and spit several times while in custody after she was found asleep in her car early Sunday morning, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.

Celina A. Desinord, 19, was found asleep in her car at 12:50 a.m. in the Crosby’s parking lot on Route 33.

A license plate check revealed that Desinord had a suspended identification car and no valid license.

She was placed in the rear of a patrol car and her car was searched.

Deputies found what is suspected to be drugs in her car. The material was seized and will be sent to a lab for testing.

As a deputy was talking to Deinord, she allegedly spit at him and then kicked the rear passenger window and front and rear seat glass divider at least 71 times. She also spit at the divider and window, deputies said.

She was charged with attempted criminal mischief, aggravated unlicensed operation, harassment and unlicensed operationl.

She may face more charges pending the outcome of the lab testing.
