Welfare check yields DWI charge

CASTILE — A South Main Street woman faces charges for allegedly throwing urine at Child Protective Service workers, Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies said.

Deputies were called the house to assist CPS workers with a home visit.

Deputy Anthony Previty said that during the visit, Amber L. Reinisch, 24, “threw urine from a cup onto child protective workers.”

She was taken into custody and charged with two counts of harassment.

Reinisch was issued appearance tickets and is to appear Aug. 3 in Town Court.
