PERRY — A community meeting to gather public input on Perry’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative application will be conducted Sept. 9.
The meeting will take place 7 p.m. at the Perry Central School Band Room on 33 Watkins Ave.
Those attending will be provided with information on the Downtown Revitalization Initiative followed by an open house to review potential projects to include in the application.
The DRI program is a comprehensive approach to downtown revitalization. It provides $10 million to support public and private projects.
The meeting is described an opportunity for residents and businesses to provide feedback and help the community submit a competitive application. The village was a finalist for the grant funding in 2019 but was not selected.
