The Allegany County Department of Health is inviting residents of seven neighboring counties, including Livingston and Wyoming counties to seek COVID-19 vaccination appointments at its clinics scheduled through Sunday.

Allegany County officials said they received a larger-than-expected influx of vaccine doses from the state. The allocations has allowed the Allegany County Department of Health to meet all existing appointments booked through the department’s website for residents in Allegany County at its mass vaccination site over the next four days. As a result, the department is temporarily opening registration for vaccination appointments to eligible residents from Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Wyoming, Livingston, Steuben, Erie, and Niagara counties may register for one of the excess capacity appointments.

The Allegany County mass vaccination site is in the former Kmart store in the Wellsville Riverwalk Plaza, 121 Bolivar Rd., Wellsville.

To book an appointment with the Allegany County Department of Health, visit the county’s website, https://www.alleganyco.com/coronavirus/covid-19-vaccine-information/
