WARSAW — Registration is underway for two clinics offering initial Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations.

Both clinics will be conducted 9 a.m. to noon Friday at the Wyoming County Health Department on 5362 Mungers Mill Rd. One is for children 5 to 11 years old, and the other is for people at least 12 years old.

Children less than 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who can provide consent. It’s asked that people bring identification, proof of insurance and a vaccination card if they are receiving a booster dose.

If you are uninsured, there is no charge.

Those interested may register online at www.wyomingco.net. Call the Health Department at (585) 786-8890 with questions or for help registering.

The state mass vaccination sites in Buffalo and Rochester are also now administering the COVID-19 vaccine to eligible 5 to 11 year-olds. Parents and guardians can make appointments at a state-run vaccine site for their child at ny.gov/vaccine.

Anyone 5 years old and older are eligible to receive a vaccine. The county is encouraging residents who are not fully vaccinated to begin their COVID-19 vaccine series.
