WARSAW — The first-ever Farm To Table Take Out dinner will be conducted Sept. 12 by the Warsaw Agriculture Youth Supporters and the Perry FFA.

Meal pickups will take place 5 to 8 p.m. at Burley Berries and Blooms on 6335 Route 20A. The funds raised will go to support the Warsaw and Perry Agriculture education programs.

The dinner will include a locally grown pulled pork and pulled chicken dinner with food grown by the Warsaw and Perry ag students. The pork has been grown by students in the Warsaw FFA with the chicken raised by the Perry FFA students.

The meal will also include Wyoming County-grown potatoes and sweet corn, and fresh salad grown by the Perry students.

The Perry Horticulture students will be working together to spread a little happiness. Each year the students “Petal it Forward” in their horticulture class.

Bouquets picked and arranged by the Perry Hort students will be provided to those who purchase a dinner, with supplies limited. Guests can keep their flowers or give them away.

The goal is to add some sunshine to someone’s day. Flowers are being donated by Burley Berries and Blooms.

Tickets are $20 per person and can be ordered via the W.A.Y.S, Perry NY FFA or Burley Berries and Blooms Facebook pages.
