Charles E. Lock


Charles E. Lock, age 60, of Perry, N.Y., passed away on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo.

He was born in Rochester, N.Y. on July 26, 1961, a son to the late Eugene C. and Ella (Knowlton) Lock.

Charles was employed by Oatka Milk in Batavia where he was a forklift operator in the warehouse and was formerly employed by the former Champion Products in Perry.

He enjoyed working around his home, fishing, traveling, going to the beach, refinishing furniture and going to the casinos. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and loved all types of animals including his pet dogs. The highlight of his life was his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Sarah (Brandon) Bacon of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., David (Nicolette) Lock of Cuba, Nicholas (Nicole) Lock of Phelps; 3 sisters, Jan Barnhardt of Perry, Winnie (Al) Skinner of St. Robert, Mo., Louisa DeVille of Warsaw; 6 grandchildren, Landen and Haley Bacon, Harrison, Elliott, Jack and Luke Lock; along with several nieces nephews and friends.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Sally A. (Krause) Lock, who passed away on Dec. 31, 2010.

Family and friends may call from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 24, at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC., 98 North Main St. in Perry. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Oct. 25 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Charles will be laid to rest in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Fillmore.
