Edward “Red” Ballow

Edward “Red” Ballow, formerly of Oakfield, passed away on Oct. 26 of natural causes at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Marguerite (nee Riegle) and the late Kathleen (nee Sullivan) Ballow; devoted father of John E Ballow and Michael Ballow; proud grandpa of Stephen, Matthew, Ryan and Alexandra; dear son of Theodore and Edna (nee Kauffman) Ballow. In past years, Ed was employed by Ryan ReWitt Corporation and Frontier Oil. In the 1960’s, Ed was a classic league bowler at Mancuso Lanes, where his teammates at that time included some of the best bowlers in Batavia. Edward is a Korean War Veteran and was a Past Master of Christopher G. Fox Lodge No. 1021, F. & A.M.

The family will be present to greet friends Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. at the (Harris Hill Chapel) Amigone Funeral Home, Inc., 8440 Main Street (Rt. 5), Williamsville. Funeral services will be held privately.
